This poem was inspired by these prompts:
Sadje’s What Do You See prompt: For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a full moon in a cloudy sky. It’s night time and the clouds behind the moon are illuminated by the moonlight in an eerie fashion. Image credit; Kenrick Mills.
Eugi’s Moonwashed Weekly prompt: hazy moon. She chose an image from Juan Carlos Saa from Pixabay as part of the prompt.
Beautifully done, Nicole. I love your last line. ❤️

P.S. Is your name spelled Nicole or Nichole?

It’s Nicole, but my last name begins with an H. I’m not sure why Sadje always writes it as “Nichole” but it doesn’t bother me.
