A Final Freeze

If only the bombastic breeze
would behave with ease,
simply billow and release
the clouds from their lease

so that the brilliant sun
could come out for fun,
shine down on all and one
and let spring feel she’s won

But that’s an absolute no,
it had to go cavort with snow
and ballistically blow
upon things trying to grow

with all the bluster
that it could muster

We need to entice
the breeze to play nice

This is part of my April poetry writing challenge (NaPoWriMo) where I post a poem every day in April for National Poetry Month. This year I decided to write 30 poems based on the theme of A Fairy Forest In Spring.

This poem is based on the prompt breeze.
